Dawne Bell
Vice President of Development

Dawne Bell is a nonprofit leader with more than 20 years of experience serving mission-driven organizations. Her career spans the early childhood, education, health care, housing, and community development sectors, where she has raised over $80 million, built statewide coalitions, and advanced policy victories.
Before joining the Albuquerque Community Foundation as Vice President of Development, Dawne held executive and philanthropic leadership roles with organizations in New Mexico, New York City, Arizona, and Michigan. A proven team builder, she is a frequent speaker and trainer on nonpartisan advocacy and board engagement. She has served on numerous boards, including national organizations in health care and philanthropy. A Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), Dawne holds an MPA from Grand Valley State University and a BA from Kalamazoo College.
Thrilled to be calling New Mexico home again, Dawne is honored to be part of the Foundation team and help expand the Foundation's impact. Outside of work, she's looking forward to rediscovering the state's trails, food, and culture alongside her family.

- What is a skill you’d like to learn? After many years away, I’m relearning how to play the piano.
