The PRIDE Circle of Albuquerque Community Foundation serves the LGBTQIA+ community in the greater Albuquerque four-county area. Although Albuquerque has a deep history of queer activism, culture, and life, there are limited funding opportunities available for services directed to the LGBTQIA+ population. 

The purpose of the PRIDE Circle is to build a legacy of support for Albuquerque’s LGBTQIA+ community as well as provide an accessible and inclusive space for members and allies of the community to gather and connect. Members contribute to a sustainable source of funding, engage in an annual inclusive grantmaking cycle, and cultivate community through events and connections. The PRIDE Circle fosters visibility, solidarity, and financial empowerment for LGBTQIA+ individuals and organizations. 

The PRIDE Circle endowment fund is to support grants to nonprofits that provide direct services, advocacy, and community-building for LGBTQIA+ individuals, ensuring immediate impact alongside long-term investment. 

PRIDE Circle membership donations go directly into the endowment and are based on a sliding scale membership structure. Learn more about PRIDE Circle’s Sliding Scale here.
