Rooted Together: Strategies in Action
Come celebrate the people, partnerships and strategies helping create a stronger International District at Rooted Together: Strategies in Action!
Join Albuquerque Community Foundation and StreetVision for a community celebration and learn how StreetVision is putting community-driven housing strategies into action with support from the Rooted Together initiative.
Launched last year, Rooted Together is a neighborhood-focused grant program at the Foundation. StreetVision was selected by a community panel as the inaugural grantee for the 2025–2026 grant cycle.
We are proud to partner with StreetVision as they turn community input and housing strategies into action. With support from Rooted Together:
- 12 properties are now part of StreetVision’s Community Land Trust
- 25 people representing 10 families have been housed
- 20 new affordable cottages are under construction on Chama Street
The Community Celebration will take place at Mesa Verde Park and include food, drinks and family-friendly entertainment. Everyone is welcome at this free community event!
Looking to see strategies in action up close? Reserve a seat on our special Rooted Together Community Cruise happening before the celebration. Executive Director John Bulten will highlight several StreetVision projects and the vision behind the work. Limited seats available with RSVP required.
