Josh has over six years of experience championing equity in the education and nonprofit sectors. He most recently worked with the LANL Foundation as a college, career, and community pathways program coordinator, where he co-led initiatives to improve economic outcomes for young parents and strengthen career connected learning opportunities in Northern New Mexico.

He attended the University of New Mexico, where he earned bachelor’s degrees in psychology and liberal arts. He holds a master’s degree in urban education with a concentration in policy and administration from Loyola Marymount University. In his master’s research capstone, Josh investigated his students’ perception of college-going culture, expectations of college, and formation of college-going identities.
