Grant Review Panel Sign-Up
In an effort to ease the burden on nonprofits, we no longer require presentations; funding decisions are based solely on the application. A scoring rubric accompanies the application, followed by a discussion with a panel consisting of Community Impact Committee members, Trustees, nonprofit representatives and community members.
Prior to signing up, please review these guidelines, requirements, and expectations:
- In-person attendance is required at the Foundation’s office on the day of the panel.
- $100 stipend is provided for your time.
- Meals will be provided.
- Panelists commit to attending or watching the recording of a panel orientation prior to participation. Orientations will be held on April 3 from 5-6pm and April 8 from 12-1pm.
- Panelists agree to read and score, and provide feedback where applicable, to all applications submitted in the field-of-interest they sign up for. The average number of applications is 35, and the time it takes to read each application varies greatly, from 30 minutes to 1 hour.
- Panelists should sign up for a field-of-interest in which they have some level of expertise/experience, and no conflict of interest.
If you are interested in serving on a grant review panel, please sign-up. Choose your first two preferred dates. We will do our best to make sure your first option is considered.
