Last year, we celebrated our 40th year of giving. As we look back, we recognize the immense support that our donors and partners have given us to affect positive change in Albuquerque.

We’re also setting our intention for the future with the momentum of a history of support and success together.

Celebrating 40 Years of Grantmaking

Last year, we celebrated our 40th year of giving. As we look back, we recognize the immense support that our donors and partners have given us to affect positive change in Albuquerque. We’re also setting our intention for the future with the momentum of a history of support and success together.

Forty grants were made honoring each of the Foundation’s decades, as well as grants focusing on the emergent needs of today and planting seeds for tomorrow.

The Calf Canyon Fire and Hermits Peak Fire is currently the largest active wildfire in the U.S. and the second-largest wildfire in New Mexico's history. To date, the fires have burned more than 250,000 acres and continue to threaten centuries-old traditional farming villages and Indigenous communities.
